This famous 1958 Jaguar MkI Goodwood Competition Car is an original UK-supplied. Finished in Maroon with cream race roundel’s and red leather interior. The car is beautifully rebuilt and race prepared and is ready for pre-season fettling and spanner checks etc. Fitted with a race prepared 3.4-litre XK engine producing a proven 273bhp, full Dyno read out included. Full race engine rebuild, triple SU’s, fitted with a race clutch, exhaust, and new radiator, etc. The interior being modified in true race car fashion with the addition of race instruments, bucket seats, race harness, roll cage, fire extinguisher, and various weight-saving measures. There are too many race parts and modifications to list. This car would cost in excess of £180,000 to build today and represents significant value for money. This car has many historic Goodwood races under it’s belt and is ready for it’s new owner to compete at that and many other historic circuits throughout Europe.
